Biography
Prof. Taketoshi Kawabe is with Faculty of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Kyushu University since April 2005. He received the B. Sc. degree from Department of Applied Physics, School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University in 1981, and M. Sc. from Major in Pure and Applied Physics, Waseda University in 1984. He had been working with Nissan Research Center, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. since 1984 to 2005. He was a research student of Department of Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics, Tokyo University in 1992 and 1993, and received the Ph. D degree from the university in 1994. His research interests include motion control, vibration control and related automotive control technology. He is a member of The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE), The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, The Japan Fluid Power System Society and IEEE. He is a director of SICE since 2005.
